Last Thursday, my mom took me to Jiufen, an old town just outside of Taipei that has a lot of old winding narrow lanes. This is the town that the movie "Spirited Away"'s art director based the architecture of the movie on. There are remnants of old Japanese architecture. It was fun to go with other moms and kids.
